Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor since November 11, 1996. Following her small debut part as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989, her role as Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character in A View to a Kill (Bond film, 1985) and then went on to perform the role of Nazisympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody was first introduced to modeling when she was offered by a professional photographer. The most memorable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film alongside Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. Following her move to Hollywood Doody made her an international star. The role she played was Flannery on the screen in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody's first appearance on the screen was in 2003. Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. She was in the film together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Doody played a small role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody was later a guest on RTE's medical drama The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project ended up being cancelled. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season of two years. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. She was given the Almeria tierra de cinema award on 21 November 2018.
