Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress who is famous for her character Renee Walker in the American television show 24 and also for her voice work and motion capture for the character of Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. She competed in Irish dance throughout her childhood and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was the role of a guest in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March to November 2007 she was the regular character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap drama General Hospital. She has also worked at theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. 2014 saw her becoming a regular series regular for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was a catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was seen in the trailer that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
